What's laser edge bander?

What are the benifits and differences of laser edge bander?

          The benefits and differences in LaserEdge quality are long term – these products have better moisture resistance, heat resistance and performance over time.

          Glue changes colors and physically shrinks and swells, leaving a large gap where dirt collects and bacteria will grow, which causes the visual appeal to dramatically decrease over time. In contrast, LaserEdge allows for a seamless joint and a higher quality seal.

        Since there are many advantages of laser edge bander, but most of users choose EVA or PUR edge bander, because the investment is a little bit higher comparing others. So when woodworking manufacturers are developping the machines, they combinate both in one machine,  they add glue pot and laser-tech both, and make fast switch which can be achieved on computer, optional to add PUR device on gluing applicator to achieve three gluing methods' application. I think it's a good solution. It's more flexible to all, which can meet different requirements.
