Cold press, that is, compressor of cold dryer. The amount of water vapor in compressed air is determined by the temperature of compressed air: while keeping the pressure of compressed air basically unchanged, reducing the temperature of compressed air can reduce the content of water vapor in compressed air, and excess water vapor will condense into liquid. Cold dryer (freeze dryer) uses this principle to dry compressed air with refrigeration technology.

Therefore, the cold dryer (freeze dryer) has a refrigeration system. In the refrigeration system of the cold dryer, the evaporator is the equipment for conveying the cooling capacity, in which the refrigerant absorbs the heat of compressed air and realizes the purpose of dehydration and drying. Compressor is the heart, which plays the role of inhaling, compressing and transporting refrigerant vapor. Condenser is a device that emits heat. The heat absorbed in the evaporator is transferred to the cooling medium (such as water or air) along with the heat converted by the input power of the compressor. Expansion valve/throttle valve acts as a throttling and pressure-reducing function for refrigerant, and controls and regulates the amount of refrigerant liquid flowing into the evaporator. The system is divided into two parts: high pressure side and low pressure side. In addition to the above components, SSS type dryer also includes energy regulating valve, high and low pressure protector, automatic sewage valve, control system and other components.
