The woodworking drill is a woodworking machine tool which uses the drill bit to process through or blind holes on the workpiece.
A woodworking machine tool that uses a drill (see woodworking tool) to process through or blind holes in a workpiece. Woodworking drilling machine is divided into horizontal and vertical, single and multi-axis. It is mainly used for wood drilling, processing round tenon holes and repairing joint scars. Vertical single-axis woodworking drilling machine is similar to metal cutting vertical drilling machine in structure. The drill bit is clamped on the drill clamp at the lower end of the spindle and rotated by the motor. The workpiece is placed on the worktable and can be fed manually or automatically. Multi-axis woodworking drilling machine (see figure) is used to process circular tenon holes of panel furniture, which can be divided into single row and multi-row. Each row of drill shafts is driven by a single motor through a gear. The center distance of the drill shafts is 32 mm or multiple (international standard for panel furniture). Neighboring bits rotate in opposite directions. Left and right-handed bits should be used. The slide board installed with each row of drill axles can adjust position on the bed, and the inclination angle of each row of drill axles can also be inclined on the slide board.
